Toy Box /Blanket Chests for Kid's Rooms

Heirloom Toy Bench / Blanket Chest has safety hinged lid.  Beautiful scroll work and outstanding construction by American craftsmen.  Measures 42 x 28 x 18.  Custom painted in any of our designs and shown here are a few examples of previous work.    Solid wood, the toy box can be stripped (gasp!) and stained if you ever desire to do so.  Of course, if you do that you'll ruin the value when your grandchildren go on Antiques Roadshow and find out in 50 years that it was a Hillary James original!

Let us customize the color schemes to fit your child's room decor (small upcharge for swatch matching)

As with all our painted items, we use only non-toxic water based paints over a sanded and primed base coat. Then we finish with 4 coats of water-based polyurethane gloss varnish that stands up to an amazing amount of wear.

As each custom painted hand-crafted toy bench/blanket chest is painted by the artist, Hillary James, without the use of patterns or stencils, some variability in design may be expected. (But not much).
