This child's solid wood toy chest was one of Hillary's favorite things to paint her designs on when she was doing that.  We show an example below to inspire your own creativity.  The toybox has an American-made safety lid support hinge to prevent the top from falling on little fingers. The front panel has an additional finger safety cutout and hand holds are cut into the sides. The fully assembled wooden Toy Chest is built the old fashioned way using solid wood, screws and glue to create an heirloom quality piece.

Creative Tip:  Order a solid color and then use painter's masking tape to mark off stripes that you paint a different color.  Voila!  You have a custom painted toybox.
