All items are thoroughly inspected when packed and are free of damage or defect.
IMPORTANT: If it is not safe for UPS or Fedex to leave a package on your porch, please select the Signature Required Shipping Method.
LEAD TIME FOR SMALLER ITEMS: Smaller items, like tables and chair sets, play kitchens, stepstools, wall clocks etc. are shipped UPS or Fedex and normally ship within 3 or 4 days of your order. Depending on your location, this means it should arrive 2 to 3 weeks after ordering. If something is on back-order, we will notify you immediately and you may cancel your order for a full refund.
Inspect your order before accepting delivery. If you do find an item has been damaged in transit, call us within 24 hours of receipt for an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) and repack the item in the original packing material. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
LEAD TIME FOR CUSTOM PAINTED ITEMS: Larger items (toybenches, beds, armoires, dressers, etc.) are hand-built and painted specifically for you and generally ship about 7-8 weeks after ordering. Depending on your location, it may take another 7 days to be delivered.
Almost all of custom painted furniture is shipped Freight Collect. When your order is ready to ship, we get 3 freight quotes to ensure the lowest cost to you. We will notify you of the amount to pay the driver.
Do not pay and do not sign anything until you have inspected the order and found it acceptable. After you accept an order, you are responsible for filing any future claims for damage or other problems.
If you do find damage or a problem when inspecting, refuse delivery. The driver will have you sign the bill of lading/waybill and you must specify why you are refusing delivery. Keep a copy of the document. Then call us immediately at (512) 268-3093. Following this procedure ensures a replacement order will be shipped as quickly as possible.
NOTE: All problems must be reported within 24 hours of delivery. So, if you order something and then wait a couple of days to inspect, we will be unable to help you. These are shipping company rules, not ours. |
