All our fine furniture is bench-made in America of white pine.   We avoid MDF and use plywood only when it is essential for structural integrity (like our playhouse).  All our furniture is hand-painted by the artist, Hillary James, using water-based acrylics and low-odor water-based varnish.  No templates or patterns are used, ensuring that each piece is unique.
